Infominang – Seorang pria paruh baya, penumpang Bus ALS jurusan Bogor-Medan, ditemukan meninggal dunia saat bus tersebut beristirahat di Pool ALS, Bukittinggi, Sumatera Barat, Sabtu (14/9).
“Penumpang bernama Nababan, diperkirakan berusia 50 tahun, naik dari Terminal Cililitan Jakarta dengan tujuan Tebing Tinggi, Sumatera Utara,” ungkap Kasi Humas Polresta Bukittinggi, Iptu Marjohan.
Menurut Marjohan, tidak ditemukan alat komunikasi, barang berharga, atau kartu identitas di barang bawaan korban. Saat bus berhenti di Pool ALS Simpang Limau, Bukittinggi, sekitar pukul 13.30 WIB, korban terlihat duduk diam dan tidak turun dari kendaraan.
“Saksi yang duduk di sebelah korban merasa curiga karena korban tidak ikut turun untuk makan. Ketika bus bersiap melanjutkan perjalanan, korban tidak merespons meski sudah dibangunkan,” kata Marjohan.
Saksi kemudian melapor ke petugas bus, dan setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan oleh tim medis, korban dinyatakan meninggal dunia di tempat.
Pihak kepolisian segera mengevakuasi jenazah ke rumah sakit untuk memastikan penyebab kematian.
Berdasarkan keterangan penumpang lain, selama perjalanan dari Jakarta, korban jarang makan dan hanya terlihat minum air serta mengonsumsi obat-obatan. “Obat-obatan itu ditemukan di kantong plastik yang dibawa oleh korban,” tambah Marjohan.
